Acme Township Community Policing

Acme Township's current Community Policing Officer (CPO) is Mike Matteucci. As our CPO, Mike is dedicated primarily to serving Acme’s law enforcement needs. He truly enjoys the CPO role, particularly the opportunity to build relationships within the township. His goal is for everyone to be familiar and comfortable with him. His current schedule appears above so you can see when he is on duty.

Success in a CPO role depends on communication. Everyone knows that if you have an emergency or are the victim of a crime you need to contact 911 right away. It’s also important to call your CPO about incidents, activities and individuals that make you suspicious or uneasy even if no actual crime has occurred. Often, when CPOs follow up on a suspicious activity report they are able to solve an outstanding warrant or string of crimes. Many of you have already found Mike easy to approach and the information you have provided has paid off. We hope that soon everyone in Acme Township will know and enjoy working with him.

Any time you have a non-emergency public safety question or concern, start by calling Mike at 938-2583. He has an e-mail box for times when he isn’t in his office here at the township hall. If you have a non-emergency but immediate need for police service, call 995-5000 to speak to Central Dispatch. And, as always, please call 911 in case of emergency.
