| Acme Township is a master planned community. The
Acme Township Master
Plan was adopted by the Acme Township Planning Commission on May 27, 1999 and has been amended several times through the summer of 2007.
An updated Acme Township
Zoning Ordinance became effective December 1, 2008. Both documents change over time as the needs and desires of the community change. In association with creation of the Master Plan, two community surveys were conducted: Acme Township Community Attitude Survey - March 1996 Acme Township Visual Preference Survey - December 1996
