page? Give it a try!
Where did the list of upcoming meetings go?
In an attempt to improve the look and function of this
homepage, links to the agendas for upcoming meetings are now posted to the above
Acme Public Events Google Calendar.
To access an agenda (once it is posted), double-click on the
calendar event that interests you. A box will pop up displaying details about
the meeting that we have entered into the calendar. there will be two links at
the bottom of the box. One will say "more details." Single left click this link.
A new window will open in your Internet browser, again showing
details we have entered about the meeting. In the "description" line there will
be a hyperlink to the agenda. Left click once and your agenda will open as
usual. The agenda will still contain links to our meeting materials as always.
If there is no hyperlink in the "description" line, we haven't
uploaded the agenda yet...please be patient!
If this isn't working, either
e-mail or call Sharon!
To access minutes of past meetings, use the "Meeting Minutes"
button in the button bar near the top of this page!
GET YOUR PASSPORTS HERE! Office Assistant Nancy Edwardson or Clerk Dorothy Dunville
can process your request Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. You may wish to call ahead to ensure one of them will
be available when you need them.
Any American citizen can apply for a passport here - you don't have to be a
township resident.
You can get your passport photos at the Walgreens at Holiday Road and US 31.
Fees are established by the US State Department. For adults the total fee starts
at $100 (additional fees apply for expedited service). $75 goes to the State
Department and $25 is retained by the issuing agency and will contribute to our
general operating fund.
Normally it takes about 6 - 8 weeks to receive your passport after
application. Plan ahead!
The next nearest place to apply is at the County Clerk's Office or post office
in Downtown T.C. - we're convenient to the East side of town! Also, if you were
born in GT County you cannot obtain your passport through the County office due
to new Homeland Security regulations.
Are members of your school, church, civic or social organization planning a
trip? Call Nancy to discuss having her come to your location/meeting to
conveniently process your applications.
